Prices

Via the menu item Settings -> Price list you can access the administration of the room prices. On the basis of the price categories, the individual items are filled in when an invoice is created.

In the overview all existing prices are listed.

Add Price

Click on Add price to open the mask to create a new price category.

A distinction is made between two types:

Room price
Prices are without breakfast
Miscellaneous Price
In addition to the room price, individual price categories can be created, e.g. breakfast

The tax rate (e.g. 19% / 7%) can also be freely selected.

Furthermore, for each reservation origin a separate price category can be saved.

Only active price categories are considered for the automatic calculation of invoice items. If a category is no longer valid, you can delete it or deactivate it temporarily.

Time Periods

Seasonal information can be added to each price category. A price category is then only valid in the specified periods.

The price classes created here are currently used for automatic filling of the invoice items.

Room specific

For each price category, it is also possible to determine for which room category the price should apply and for how many persons in a room.

Example: If you create a price category double room for single occupancy , select the category double room and enter 1 for the number of persons.

In addition, a further restriction of the price category can be added. The Minimum stays field is used to specify the number of overnight stays from which the price category is to apply. This is helpful if you have different prices depending on how long a guest stays.

Bookable Online (miscellaneous prices only)

Miscellaneous price categories (e.g. breakfast, final cleaning, pet fee) can be marked as bookable online . When this option is enabled, the miscellaneous price is displayed as a selectable extra during the online booking process. Guests can add the extra directly when booking. Pricing is calculated automatically based on the stored price type (per person/night, per room/night, or flat rate).

Details

If you click on the symbol Details you get the detail view.

Edit

When you click on the symbol Edit in the overview under Actions you get the form for editing. Here you can edit all fields the same way as when you add an item.

Delete

If you click on the symbol Delete under Actions in the overview, the selected element can be deleted.

Package Prices

Miscellaneous price categories (e.g. breakfast, half-board) can be configured as package prices . This is required when a single price consists of services with different tax rates – for example food (7 %) and beverages (19 %).

A package price is set up in the price form via the Package Configuration section. Any number of components can be added. Each component has:

Description – appears as the line item text on the invoice
Tax rate – the VAT rate applicable for this component
Allocation – either as a percentage of the total price or as a fixed amount
Remainder – one component can be flagged as the remainder; it automatically receives the leftover amount and prevents rounding differences

When an invoice is created, the package price is automatically split into its individual components and shown as multiple separate invoice positions – one line per component, each with the correct tax rate.

The split happens automatically in the background. In the online booking form guests still see a single price; the breakdown only appears on the invoice.

Optionally, a different revenue account can be stored per price or per component. This is useful when certain services should be assigned to a different account in the accounting journal.

Tax rates are managed centrally under Accounting Journal → Settings → Tax rates . A direct link is available above the component table for authorised users.
